HIGH LEVEL FEMALE DANCER: She will be dancing bare foot in quite a ballet pose (but not necessarily en point / in ballet shoes). The Client is keen on the girl being more muscular like a gymnast, than slim like a ballerina. She absolutely must look strong, athletic, well defined – with the ability to create beautiful lines. The dancer must be comfortable in her own skin, as the idea is that she is “perceived nude”. Therefore at the casting we will need to see her dance in a nude bra top and nude thong, or topless with a nude thong if she is comfortable. On the actual shoot, the dancer will mainly be in the shadows (‘edge lit with a dark background’) you will just the highlights of her body, rather than anything too risqué. But she will need to be shot topless at the final shoot, if chosen.
