You’re nobody unless you’re somebody on Instagram, according to the fashion business. Many brands are now requiring their models to have a minimum of 10,000 followers to be considered for a gig. Meanwhile, H&M announced the debut of its first full range beauty collection, to hit stores this fall.

-What effect has Kendall Jenner’s 25 million followers on Instagram had on the modeling world? Catherine McGill, manager of Vivien’s Models, explains that many brands are now opting for models with no fewer than 10,000 Instagram followers — meaning that one’s social capital may be even more profitable than traditional beauty or skill.

-Trendy yet affordable clothes won’t be the only thing you can pick up at your local H&M this fall. The Swedish-based shop is adding a full range of beauty products to its 900 stores worldwide and online, including makeup, hair care, body care and beauty tools.
