It was only a matter of time, but now we can officially confirm that Cindy Crawford’s lookalike daughter is on her way to supermodel stardom.
Kaia Gerber, now 13, has just landed her first modeling contract with IMG Models. The company announced the news today by posting a picture of Kaia to its Instagram account with the caption, “NOW REPRESENTING: @KaiaGerber. Welcome to the family! #IMGirls | @VogueItalia | #Steven Meisel | #Pat McGrath.”
While Cindy reportedly wanted Kaia to hold off on a modelling career until she was at least 17, it seems the model mum may have relaxed her stance due to popular demand.
Kaia recently reached 100,000 followers on Instagram, indicating that she’s on her way to becoming one of the new model Insta-girls alongside the likes of Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.
“It’s absolutely crazy,” Kaia said of the milestone.
