Corporate video for a “GLOBAL

The film will combine engaging, dramatic narrative with exciting science
fiction VFX and cinematic illusion.
Shoot: We will be shooting in Manchester on
18th and 19th of May. Candidates may also be required to travel to Sardinia
20-23 September 2017 to participate in a live performance component of the
film experience.

Seeking:
FEMALE LEAD: We are looking to cast a lead female actor, capable of carrying
the role of
a time-travelling hero. Candidates will require the ability to deliver
convincing dialogue within a totally imagined green screen studio
environment.
The heroine is an idealised representative of the organisation: an executive
agent who is charged by her boss with a mission to travel back in time to
2017 in order to deliver a critical message, contained inside a small
electronic device, to delegates at the conference. Probably late 20s early
30s, she will probably wear a sharp, sleek business outfit. The ‘goal’ that
drives our hero on their quest is the desire to participate in success, to
be part of something worthwhile, to share enlightenment with others.
As such, the character is cool, calm, intelligent, attractive, athletic,
confident, ambitious. A brunette, she will be credibly ‘European’ rather
than ‘British’ in appearance and voice. Experience as a dancer or athlete
may be an advantage as the character ‘falls’ through a time-travel vortex
and good poise, balance and body control will be required for this action.
Candidates must be able to convey sincerity, curiosity and wonder, as well
as steely determination.
Although the company’s business language is English, roughly 30% of the
audience will struggle with English and pace / accent with which the
dialogue is delivered will be considered alongside appearance.
