Seeking:

MALE DANCE CREW CAST (DANCERS & NON-DANCERS):

PLEASE READ THE WHOLE THING BEFORE YOU SUGGEST.

Each dance crew should have ten everyday and relatable blokes – for example,
they could be slightly over-weight, balding or a little nerdy. We’re looking
for characters that seem everyday from the outside but are able to
demonstrate an extraordinarily surprising amount of confidence and swagger.

In an ideal world, our casting should feel like a Britain’s Got Talent
moment – somebody walks onto stage that feels very normal – yet he can
perform with remarkable Beyoncé style attitude.

On each team we’ll cast ten key characters for main moments in the action.

In terms of their profile, the majority should be middle-aged blokes (like
all MSM lead characters) – but the casting brief can flex to all areas –
some should be younger or older too. We are looking for all ethnicities,
heights, body shapes etc. We want to get a great set of performers.

It’s going to be really important that we cast a mix of professional dancers
for impressive moves, as well as amateurs and have-a-go-heroes for the
humour. It would be amazing if they had some experience performing in dance
groups (or maybe even of dancing in high heels) – but it’s not essential. If
some people can’t do the moves so well that is really fine. We want a range
of ability. We will most likely do a ‘dancers’ casting & then an actors that
can ‘move’ casting. Please make a comment as to which category your artist
falls into-‘dancer’ or ‘mover’.

Humour is going to be key. Each person should make you laugh at the way they
walk in hot pants and heels or ride the pole. We’re looking to contrast the
mean streets of Compton with two gangs of sassy blokes.

MoneySuperMarket is about real, everyday people who have saved money and
feel epic – and this film should be no different.

FEMALE DANCE CREW (DANCERS & NON-DANCERS):

We would also like to explore casting some women onto each team. The same
rules apply in terms of everyday normal women who feel epic and perform with
swagger, just as previous descripition. Please make sure you add a comment
as to which category your artist falls into-‘dancer’ or ‘mover’.
