Casting BOYS to play the following roles:
YOUNG LOLA Male, to play 8-10, black/African-American. MUST BE UNDER 4 feet 5 inches (135cm). This is Lola as a ten year old boy, whose father wants him to be a boxer, but he already knows he’s destined to wear high heels. He appears in the opening and closing sequences. Must have a great voice and be comfortable WEARING HIGH HEELS during the show.
YOUNG CHARLIE Male, to play 8-10, Caucasian. SHOULD BE 4 feet 5 inches (135cm) OR UNDER. This is our lead as a ten year old boy. Lost, quiet, reflective. He appears in the opening and closing sequences. Must have a great, strong voice.
