Our three films will have independent and particular worlds, but they
will be connected through various things:
The same initial concept “How to”, a V.O that will always be the same
voice, music that will be made by the same artist, and the same titles.
We will take mundane, ordinary tasks and make them into beautiful and
thought-provoking films.
We think a slightly educational vibe can work well with the idea of
the “how to” and the concept of “A guide to life”.
Seeking:
WOMAN: in her 20s-30s. (Not younger than 20 please)
Someone who has character, who charms the camera, who is more than a
pretty face.
For example, a very pale, ginger haired kind of woman could work well
against the dirt and bugs, she must be ok with having a few bugs on her
(won’t be 100’s, will only be a few).
Delicate but with character.
A strong, powerful face could work well too.
We are looking for charming, diverse and unique characters. We want
them to be charismatic and attractive. People who are lively and up
adventures and fun.
We don’t need them to be models, but we do want them to have something
special that catches our attention, but they must be able to ‘act out’ the
script (scripts are non speaking). The main focus is that want the
characters to have personality more than anything. With the scripts we want
them to be able to get involved and react well.
It has a high end fashion vibe when we open. A more ‘fashion film’
feeling you could say. In the script, a girl tries to weed and look after
the garden but instead is taken over by the plantlife. She becomes the
garden and the garden becomes her.

MAN: I think a young man could be quite charming for the
bedsheets film. Early 20s, with a super charismatic face and a strong
personality, able to carry the comedic feel of the film. I want his face to
have something unique and different. Maybe it’s his hair, maybe freckles,
maybe teeth or eyes or everything together. (Montell Jordan is a good
reference)

We open on our guy. He is in his bedroom and about to change the
sheets. We imagine this room quite dull but still full of light. We want to
make this film feel like a dream that turns rather annoying – not a
nightmare, but one of those frustrating dreams where you don’t seem to reach
the end.
“A boy gets lost between the fresh bedsheets, entering a calm world of
pink and pale colours, breezing through the initial steps but arriving in a
frustrating place where you can’t find that final corner. We are caught in
limbo with him, a never-ending world where he can’t escape”.
The sensation of being between clean sheets, floating with them and
having fun until it turns into something very frustrating when you can’t
seem to reach the corner on your own, or when you get lost in the duvet.

PANCAKES (second film) – Hands only
No bitten nails, no tattoos please, nice hands
A step by step very, very clean breakfast recipe. You’ve never seen
pancakes so perfect. A non-messy, perfectionist, borderline OCD, that is so
perfect it can’t be real. The utensils are the best and most stylish, same
as the ingredients… But are they?
Our character (hands only) wants to achieve perfection so bad he
starts using ingredients that are not edible, just to make the dish look
perfect.
